This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use deerab.com, our mobile view, and related services. We follow applicable laws including Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California CCPA/CPRA.
2) What data we collect
- Account & profile: name, email, password (hashed), phone number, billing/shipping addresses.
- Transactions: orders, payment status, item details, returns. (Card data is processed by payment partners such as Stripe or PayPal; we don’t store full card numbers.)
- Pasabuy & marketplace: listings, delivery preferences, communications between buyers/sellers/travelers where applicable.
- Device & usage: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, referral URLs, approximate location, error logs.
- Support & marketing: messages you send us, reviews, survey responses, marketing preferences.
- Optional location: if you set a delivery location or allow geolocation, we store the location you choose to personalize your experience.
3) How we use your data
- Provide and improve our marketplace, checkout, payments, shipping, and customer support.
- Prevent fraud, secure accounts, and comply with legal obligations (tax, sanctions, KYC/KYB where required).
- Personalize content (e.g., prices, currency, delivery options, country-specific availability).
- Send service emails (order confirmations, updates). With your consent or as allowed by law, send marketing.
